Alumni Teaching Award Dossier Guidelines

Winners of the College-level Certificates of Teaching Excellence for the past three years (CTEs awarded in 2007 (if after March 14, 2007), 2008, 2009, and 2010) are eligible for the University-level Alumni Teaching Awards. Two awards are given each year, with Alumni winners receiving a cash award of $2000 and automatic induction into the Academy of Teaching Excellence.

To be considered for the Alumni Teaching Awards, CTE winners must submit a teaching dossier to the Alumni Teaching Award Selection Committee. Dossiers from previous years will not be automatically resubmitted.

For the Award, CTE winners must submit dossiers that follow the Dossier Guidelines established by the Academy of Teaching Excellence in Fall 2006.

Dossiers of CTE winners must be received electronically, in PDF format by February 5, 2010 at gjustice@vt.edu
