Alumni Teaching Award Dossier Guidelines

For Spring 2008

Winners of the College-level Certificates of Teaching Excellence for the past three years (CTEs awarded in 2005 (if after March 14, 2005), 2006, 2007, and 2008) are eligible for the University-level Alumni Teaching Awards. Two awards are given each year, with Alumni winners receiving a cash award of $2000 and automatic induction into the Academy of Teaching Excellence.

To be considered for the Alumni Teaching Awards, CTE winners must submit a teaching dossier to the Alumni Teaching Award Selection Committee by March 14, 2008.

For the Award, CTE winners must submit dossiers that follow the format established by the Academy of Teaching Excellence in Fall 2006.

SEVEN copies of the dossiers must be received by 5:00 PM MARCH 14, 2008  at:

Those who have won the Alumni Teaching Award in the past or an Academy of Teaching Excellence University-level teaching award in the past seven years are not eligible.
